Catalyst Marketing Group

Catalyst Marketing Group is a full service digital marketing agency that specializes in helping launch startup companies. Their main objective is to use the power of modern tools to grow their clients’ customer base as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The logo would need to showcase how their firm will pinpoint your marketing needs, and achieve positive results in record time.

In the early stages of the project, I took inspiration from the definition of catalyst:
– a substance that initiates or accelerates a chemical reaction without itself being affected

My mind instantly went to the climax of Back To The Future, in which Marty is able to travel back to the future in the DeLorean, with the assistance of a precision bolt of lightening as the catalyst for the Flux Capacitor.

I created a concept with a bolt of lightening representing the catalyst as a precision strike to pinpoint a startup’s marketing needs, and launch their business into the future; but it needed a little plus to put it over the edge. I then compared it to a graph arrow, noting the similarities in shape, and capped off the lightening bolt with an arrow, showing how precision marketing will grow your startup.
