Catalyst Coffee

Design a logo for a coffee club located at Catalyst Coworking. The name of the club is “Catalyst Coffee”, with the coffee provided by Origin Coffee Co.

The logo needed to utilize the same font family as the main Catalyst Coworking branding, and also use the same color scheme. The logo needed to be versatile for all print and digital mediums, and be legible when still printed on cup holders.

For this logo, I created a coffee bean icon, where the bean is formed using two “C”s – representing Catalyst Coffee. I utilized the same font for “Catalyst” as the main branding, then used a classic diner-style font for the word, “Coffee”.

I expertly intertwined the two “C”s to invoke the sense of community that members experience at Catalyst, then used a gold and black color scheme to give the idea of exclusivity.
