Coach Roach

The logo needed to be sleek and modern, and match the same color scheme as Frontline Insurance Team. Coach Roach coaches local sports, including basketball and football, and that was to play a main role in the branding for his insurance business.

The client wanted it to include sports imagery, but also tie into the insurance industry.

By designing an icon with “CR”, I discovered a golden opportunity to place a whistle in the negative space created by the letters. This ingenious solution gave the client the idea for an updated tagline, “Blowing the whistle on bad coverage”. This tagline expertly references both insurance and football at the same time, which provides the perfect overall branding for the business.
