Epicenter Coworking

Now rebranded to Catalyst Coworking, Epicenter Coworking is a coworking space located in downtown Tulsa. The logo needed to show the versatility of the spaces offered, while also showing a sense of community. They offer 4 different services: Private Desks, Private Offices, Meeting Rooms, and Mailboxes. Client would prefer if these services could be represented somehow in the end result.

I designed several icons that revolved around the word “epicenter”. These icons revolved around the “worker bee” concept, where the bee hive serves as the epicenter of a bee’s working life. This illustrated how the coworking space could accommodate an individual’s working needs.

This final concept shows a main hexagon (representing the individual / the epicenter of their work life) surrounded by 4 hexagons, which represent the 4 services available to reserve: Meeting Rooms, Desks, Office Space, Mailboxes. A hexagon has 6 sides, so 4 hexagons x 6 sides = 24, representing how the space is available 24 hours a day.

The honeycomb pattern also subtly forms an “E” and “C” shape, for Epicenter Coworking.

Even though they rebranded to Catalyst Coworking, I still love how this logo turned out.
