Poppy’s
The Brief
Poppy’s! A small, 50s style pop-up cafeteria that serves coffee, snow cones, and ice cream – named after the owner’s kid’s nickname for their grandfather. The client wanted it to have a classic diner-style look and feel, to harken back to the soda shop era.
The Solution
I created a custom “P” icon modeled after classic soda shops and candy stores, then created a custom font to match. I inset the text inside a 3D abstract shape, in the style of classic Americana signage.
I chose a teal and red color scheme, like you would have encountered in a 50s soda shop. This 100% matched the client’s vision, with no revisions.

Testimonial
“I own multiple businesses and Ben has designed each logo and website. All I do is give him the name of the business and what we do. He always captures the heart of what I am doing by delivering the perfect logo and website that embodies the essence of the company and my personality.”
